The delegation of the Russian-Armenian University, headed by the Rector, Doctor of Economics of the RA and RF professor Edward Sandoyan, took part in the solemn march of the "Immortal Regiment" in Yerevan on May 9.

The traditional memorial march began from the area adjacent to the Surb Khach Church in the Arabkir district. The participants of the event carried portraits of heroes, flowers, flags of Armenia and Russia, and banners. A helicopter with a copy of the legendary Victory Banner flew over the marchers.

The staff and students of the RAU, together with the other participants of the procession, headed by the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin, walked along Azatutyun Avenue to the Eternal Flame memorial complex in Victory Park, where they laid flowers and wreaths. After the ceremony, a concert began. 

It should also be noted that the Immortal Regiment procession began with a service in the Armenian Church of Surb Khach.
