RAU Rector's Advisor on work with youth Hripsime Margaryan presented Armenia at international platform in China

    The event brought together leaders in business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education and other fields from Armenia, Egypt, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Cambodia and Nepal.

    RAU Rector's Advisor on work with youth Hripsime Margaryan took part in the conference "Seminar on Applied Chinese for Government Officials from the Belt and Road Countries" held in Beijing.

    The event brought together more than 25 leaders in business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, charity, sports, various spheres of public life, as well as members of parliament, political parties and young university representatives from Armenia, Egypt, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Cambodia and Nepal.

    At the opening ceremony of the seminar, Vice-President of Beijing International Chinese College Louis Yang welcomed all the guests and wished them effective work. In her turn, Rector's Advisor Ripsime Margaryan delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of all delegates of the participating countries.

    The conference programme included not only lectures, discussions and practical sessions, but also field trip modules. During their stay in Xi'an, the seminar participants met Vice President of Xi'an University of Technology, Professor Yehua Shen and Director of the International Relations Department of Xi'an University of Technology Kang Wenxiang. During the meeting, the two parties discussed a number of significant issues concerning co-operation in bilateral and multilateral formats.

    "It was a pleasure to represent Armenia at such a large-scale platform which gathered professionals of their fields. Such meetings contribute to the strengthening of international ties, exchange of experience and knowledge between different countries. I hope that the agreements reached on cooperation with Chinese representatives will bring fruitful results and contribute to further development in the field of education and international cooperation," she said.

    It should be noted that the seminar was organised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce together with the Beijing International Chinese College.
