Iranian historian and political scientist Hossein Ahmadi held a lecture for RAU students

    The topic of the lecture was “Syunik in the context of geopolitics of a large region. Crossroad. Civilizational confrontation”.

    On September 29, famous Iranian historian and political scientists, Head of the Institute for Iranian Contemporary Historical Studies, doctor Hossein Ahmadi held a lecture for RAU students on the topic “Syunik in the context of geopolitics of a large region. Crossroad. Civilizational confrontation.”

    “Doctor Hossein Ahmadi is aware of the nuances and background of the situation in the region: we have invited the expert with the aim to make our students and guests acquainted with the current relevant issues in the given context. Despite the turmoil and chaos, the academic and analytical processes should not be disrupted. It is important to us that our students delve deeply into the essence of what is happening so that they will be able to become part of the strategic planning in the future”, - noted professor of RAU Oriental Studies Institute Victoria Arakelova.
     
    In her words, lectures of such format are necessary, since they clearly demonstrate the processes happening inside the country. The lecture by  doctor Hossein Ahmadi segued to a discussion, as there were many questions by the students and guests. 

    “Such a keen interest is due to the need to find constructive ways of further actions and outline the prospects for the youth”, - emphasized Victoria Arakelova.

    It should be noted that doctor Hossein Ahmadi held the lecture in Farsi (with interpretation into Armenian).
