Within the framework of the annual international scientific conference "Russian Literature in a Changing World 2023" held on October 26-27 at Russian-Armenian University, more than 50 literature experts from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Kazakhstan, China, Korea and Germany spoke about the vectors of the development of modern literature. 

In their reports, the experts talked about relevant issues in the fields of theory of literature and translation, as well as about the experience of the modern perspective of  classical literature, followed by problematics and symbolism of works by Russian writers. Modern prose and its role in the digital era were also discussed. 

It should be noted that the aim of the annual international scientific conference “Russian Literature in the Changing World”, held by the Department of Russian and World Literature and Culture of RAU since 2005, lies in the development of a research platform for discussion of current strategies for understanding the role, peculiarities and directions of development of Russian literature in the modern world. At the end of the conference, a collection of scientific articles will be published.
