RAU and Tel Aviv University set a new vector of cooperation

    RAU and TAU will cooperate in a number of areas, including implementation of joint scholarship programs and academic mobility programs, providing opportunities for exchange in the field of cultural and artistic activities, conducting joint research and events.

    On January 13 Professor Armen Darbinyan, Russian-Armenian University Rector, and Professor Mark Steif, Tel Aviv University Rector, signed a memorandum of cooperation. 
     
    According to the memorandum, RAU and TAU will cooperate in a number of areas, including implementation of joint scholarship programs and academic mobility programs, providing opportunities for exchange in the field of cultural and artistic activities, conducting joint research and events.

    The Memorandum comes into force from the date of signing and is valid for five years.

    It should be noted that Tel Aviv University (TAU)  is the largest higher education institution in Israel, with more than 30,000 students studying in nine departments. TAU is consistently ranked among the top hundred universities in the world. In 2021, TAU took 5th place in the Startup Genome ranking in the world, which a major global consulting and research company in the field of innovation policy. The prestigious rating reflects the participation of graduates of the world's leading universities in entrepreneurship and the creation of scaling companies that have passed the startup stage with $ 50 million and more.

    It should also be recalled that in September 2017, Russian-Armenian University and Boris Mints Institute at Tel Aviv University organized the session “Small Economics Transitions: Local Responses to Common Challenges”.
