Dr. Mher Sahakyan, lecturer of Russian-Armenian University delivered lectures for University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University

    Due to QS World University Ranking, University of Hong Kong is the 22nd best university of the world, and Hong Kong Baptist University is in 264 position.

    On October 27, 2022, Dr. Mher Sahakyan, lecturer of Russian-Armenian University and head of the China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research was invited by Hong Kong Baptist University to deliver a lecture on “China, Colliding Interests in Ukraine, Eurasia, and Cyberspace in the Era of Multipolar World Order 2.0”. The total number of attendees were 58. Online attendees were 34 and offline attendees were 24.

    On October 20, the Graduate School of the University of Hong Kong, invited Dr. Mher Sahakyan to have a lecture for PhD students. Mher Sahakyan talked about the importance of capitalization of academic knowledge, creation of specific networks and building connections through organizing conferences and seminars. 

    On October 3, Dr. Mher Sahakyan who is also an AsiaGlobal Fellow of the Asia Global Institute, University of Hong Kong, presented his research on “China’s Belt and Road Initiative and South Caucasus in the Multipolar World Order 2.0” during Intra-Fellow seminar organized by Asia Global Institute. He analyzed China’s logistic, economic, political and energy cooperation with Azerbaijan and Georgia in the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Dr. Sahakyan introduced infrastructure development projects in China-Central Asia-Western Asia Economic Corridor. He also provided several recommendations for strengthening Sino-Armenian cooperation in the framework of Belt and Road Initiative. This research will be published in China and Eurasian Powers in a Multipolar World Order 2.0 Security, Diplomacy, Economy and Cyberspace (Routledge, Taylor & Francis).
