Head of RAU Department of Economics and Finance Mariam Voskanyan and Head of RAU Department of Tourism and Services of RAU Armine Aghajanyan visited Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU). During the visit, RAU lecturers delivered open lectures for students and staff of SPbPU, and also took part in the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Intelligent Engineering Economics and Industry X.0"(IEEI_X.0_INPROM).

 

At the plenary session, Mariam Voskanyan presented a joint report together with RAU Rector Edward Sandoyan on the topic "The Economy of Armenia: Digital Transformation at the Current Stage of Development."

 

During the visit, Mariam Voskanyan and Armine Aghajanyan also completed an internship on international accreditation of educational programs. In addition, they were awarded diplomas for completing the professional retraining program "Data Analysis in a Digital Environment Based on the Python Programming Language", implemented by SPbPU for 11 lecturers of the Institute of Economics and Business of the Russian Agrarian University last fall.

 

It should be noted that at the conference's grand opening they were awarded a letter of gratitude for their contribution to the development of international inter-university cooperation.
